 - Solar mounting structure engineered and installed to last 30 years through any weather event.

 - Selecting Inverters and Controllers built to run for 30 years without issue by the best providers.

 - Selecting Solar Panels from proven, reputable manufacturers that are around 30 years to warrant and stand behind their products.

Here at Solar Lane we’ve seen all of this.   We regularly get called in to find and fix these problems created by run-of-the-mill installers.  Far better to avoid all of this by doing it right the first time.

You also need a solar company that knows the environmental and permitting regulations — regulations that cost you money down the road if not managed and dealt with up front.  Just interconnecting your solar system with the utility can cost up to 10% more than an original cost quote in their add-on charges, if not handled correctly and knowledgeably up front.  Yes, this happens when an installer is less than thoroughly versed in these issues. 

There are other things too, such as sizing the wiring correctly for avoid inefficiencies that kill your electric energy production.  Where the installer undersized the wiring to save themselves money on copper, which you then pay for many times over during the life of the system.  Solar sites are large.
